Hi Xavier Rivera here with http://myhomebasebiz.com the work from home directory, and on Day 13 of the 30 day video challenge, I share what I do to unwind and get back to me when the stresses of life hit the fan. If I'm being honest, give me a nice cold glass of milk, some cookies, and a funny show on Netflix, and I can most definitely can get back to myself and tackle down what's in front of me. Taking this time to just escape has been essential for me, however below I share a more effective, healthier way to deal with whatever comes at me.
Is turning to Cookies, Milk and Netflix the best thing to turn to when I'm stressed out or simply need to decompress, probably not, but it's been my go to for most my life, and now I'm doing my best to replace that with concentrating on my breathing so to regain perspective, and then follow it up with questioning myself why a few times till I'm able to reach that core feeling that's really bogging me down at that moment.
